    The 7-time champions India will be defending their title as they face teams like Pakistan, UAE, Nepal, hosts Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand and Malaysia.

    The 9th edition of the Women's Asia Cup is all set to take place in Dambulla, Sri Lanka and is scheduled to start on July 19. The competition will feature eight teams – one more than in the previous edition which are divided into two groups. The 7-time champions India will be defending their title as they face teams like Pakistan, UAE, Nepal, hosts Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand and Malaysia. 

    The top two teams from each group will play in the semi-finals on July 26 with the final held on July 28. India has played in all eight finals but lost just one to Bangladesh in 2018. Sri Lanka has been runners-up five times while the Pakistan cricket team has made the final twice. The India vs Pakistan match will be played on July 19.
