Aquaman directed by James Wan and Staring Jason Mamoa is one of the most talked about movies of the year and DC fans were counting on it save the DCU after the hugely disappointing Justice League and on that front Aquaman delivers it feels like a breath of fresh air with its vibrate colors amazing visual effects and a wonderful performance from the leads.
Jason Mamoa is born to play Aquaman and is a scene stealer, Amber Heard does a great job playing Mera as well, her character isn't a sidekick or a damsel in distress, in fact, she saves Aquaman a lot in the movie.
James Wan has done a great job in the movie and Aquaman can be considered among his top Movies, However, that is not to say that the Movie is not flawed at times the movie seems to drag but well paced and great action sequences stop it from becoming boring. The dialogues in the movie are not memorable.
The villains seem one dimensional as well and while they do have good screen time and presence they still needed a lot more work.
But despite these issues, Aquaman is a good movie and you leave the cinemas exited if you are a DC fan you definitely must not miss this one.
