From the whimsical mind of director Tim Burton, "Big Eyes" tells the outrageous true story of one of the most epic art frauds in history. Does Christoph Waltz ever do a crappy movie these days? With Big Eyes release, the answer to that question remains in the negative. Starring Amy Adams (she does seem to have a knack for picking up a good movie as well) and Christoph Waltz, Big Eyes is about the story of Margaret Keane, and her struggle to get credited for her own paintings in a time not too kind to women.

Margaret Keane is a painter with an extremely unique style. She has left her first husband with her daughter and is trying to make ends meet by selling her art. On one such occasion, she happens to meet Walter Keane, a man who could sell just about anything. He claims the same to her, and they embark upon a fruitful partnership, during which they get married. Margaret's paintings are also selling like hotcakes. There's just one problem: Walter is selling the paintings as his and this is bothering Margaret. Quite a bit. With the odds against her, Margaret bravely decides to stand up to her husband. In court.

Big eyes is a great movie. It makes you root for different people through its course, making you change your allegiances time and time again. For that, Tim Burton must be credited. Amy Adams does a stellar job as Margaret, but the real show stealer is Christoph Waltz. He is absolutely brilliant and is worth the price of admission alone. This is definitely a movie you don't want to miss.
