Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3 has superbly landed with Captain America: Civil War. Anthony Russo and Joe Russo or the Russo brother’s execution in the movie shows again how potent they are to craft of handling superheroes and their world.
The movie starts right after their latest mission gets screwed by accidentally killing many civilians, and the team is approached by General (Thunderbolt) Ross, representing the United Nations, to incorporate the Avengers under official control.
The plot of Civil War is linear enough to find a connect with the masses: "The Avengers" were divided into two teams led by Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) and Chris Evans (Captain America). There is no good or a bad side to it, just different perspectives. Every superhero battle we have witnessed so far might have saved the world in a larger prospect, yet there were those whose worlds were figuratively crushed following the death of their loved ones. The film gives our superheroes two options: Do you accept the blame of civilians dying because of them? Or accepting that there’s no other way to handle things?
There are a few questionable lines and incredible scenes that will have you asking how a character is moving destination A from B, but they all are superheroes right? So that’s what we all overlooked in the grander scheme of things.
The film never loses its pace and goes full throttle from start to finish and the introduction of new characters goes pretty smoothly. Chadwick Boseman's amazing performance as Black Panther gives justice to the regal character. Captain America: Civil War is fun when it needs to be fun, rough when it needs to be rough. It’s a Must Watch!
