Hollywood produces such template family dramas like 200 times in a year. Daddy's home is about two men competing with each other to prove who is the best dad. Of course, one is the biological dad and other being step dad. There is this happy family, suddenly a new member comes, there is tension, they have these comic tussles, and there is this sentiment moment and everyone becomes one big happy family and they lived happily ever after. Thats how 50% of the family drama films are based on and Daddy's home is no different.

However, there are a few, ok a couple of LOL moments and rest being the "been there seen that" stuff. Apart from that, there is no emotional connect with the characters and i hope even director wanted the same. Moreever, since we have seen a lot of such routine films and shows on TV, the movie became every predictable and boring 75% of the time. Mark Wahlberg kept the audience interested for a while but then it didnt help all that much.

Daddy's home is a routine comedy family drama, which you would have seen so many times in your past. This film is 75% boring and 25% humorous with absolutely no story. But there were a few genuine LOL moments. When i say genuine, the full house audience broke out to laughter. A full house cant be wrong at times.
