Due Date is a typical road trip movie where two totally unlike people are forced to make a journey together. If they are a guy and a girl they fall in love and if they are two guys they end up forming an unlikely friendshiplike the one here. Robert Downey Jr plays a guy who freaks out easily and the other one is a freak, period. This premise gives the script lots of opportunities for one liners and jokes which are just about smile type funny. I laughed out loud actually only about 3 times.

The movie is worth watching only for Zach Galifianakis walk- a tiny stepped girlish strut holding his pug in his hand, nose up in the air. You have to smile everytime he does that. The movie was worth that walk alone for me.

The dialogues could have been wittier and the situations funnier. I think you can watch this one on DVD post dinner on a week day. It will relax you enough to get a good nights sleep.
