Some films dont really deserve an in-depth analysis. They just need to be admired, with all their flaws purely because of the mammoth achievement of filmmaking & storytelling they are.

Gravity is one such film. The most immersive film experience I have had since Jurrasic Park, Gravity sucks you into that vortex and spins a tale of emotions around it.

All this film has is 2 Astronauts, lost in space, figuring their way back to Earth. They are met with flying debris, depleting oxygen, an insurmountable task of finding help in oblivion and having belief in themselves.

I don't even remember the runtime but all i know is that I couldn't get enough of it. Agreed, the film is slow, but what a spectacle it is.

George Clooney is in an extended cameo but its Sandra Bullock all the way. She looks ln incredible shape & both give brilliant performances.

Director Alfonso Cuaron may have created something that no one would have understood on paper. Two actors, insane amount CG, barley any dialogue and all that in 3D. But the breathaking long shots, one of them being almost 16 minutes, draw you in and don't let go of you. There are times where I had to take my glasses off just because it got too much for me.

One really doesn't need validation from reviews before going in & I would suggest just go in there, put on those glasses and transport yourself into a different world. You will be flying in space, atleast I was.

Stop wasting time reading this and book your tickets!!

P.S - As i mentioned first, IMAX 3D is the ONLY way to watch this film.
