Long ago, THere was an Ice Age which was one of the funnier animated movies out there. Regardless of your age, there was something to enjoy in there. A simple-ish plot, combined with good characters made it a movie which could be watched many times. Sadly, The series has been milked for all it's worth, with each successive installment lacking a little more charm than its predecessor. Ice Age : Collision Course is no exception to this, despite having many moments of hilarity thrown in the mix.

Manny, Sid, Diego have all settled down (Well Manny and Diego at least), having grown weary of staving off one apocalypse after another (Who can blame them?), when they are alerted to another incoming apocalyptic event; An asteroid hurtling towards earth. As usual, the bringer of their misfortune happens to be a tiny little crazed squirrel. So the gang goes off to save the world once again, with their families in tow, and the new additions they've accumulated over successive movies.

Let's get one thing straight, Ice Age : Collision Course isn't a bad film. On the contrary, it's a great one to take your kids to, but unlike the first couple of films in the franchise it's the adult audience that will find themselves getting bored of the movie. There's only so many slapstick gags that an adult can endure. The cast is excellent as ever, and are possibly the best part about the movie. Ice Age : Collision Course isn't the worst way to spend your time, but I'd avoid it.
