Verdict

“Into The Storm is your typical disaster movie. But due to shoddy scripting and dull characters, it loses its essence in the turmoil caused by some glorious looking CGI tornadoes. You're better off skipping this one. ”

There is one thing called as a disaster film and there is another thing where the film is a disaster.

This film looks like a science project made by 14-year-olds. The presence of Richard Armitage and Sarah Wayne Callies couldn't save the film.

A bunch of people film a tornado that is supposedly the biggest one. Little teenage romance too didn't bring Into the Storm from the dead. 'Youtube hits' is a craze. It's like wildfire. Everybody wants to be there, everybody wants to upload their video, and who doesn't want to be famous… yeah, everybody does.

What we can learn from this film is that people can survive tornadoes and that a person who you think is interested in work alone can save his kind too. Add to it 'what happens tomorrow will happen tomorrow', live today, live now.

Into the Storm is the larger version of what the amateur videographers in the film shoot (apparently there are two comedians trying to film the tornado with their cameras). Anybody with a camera can probably do wonders with it. But this film stands closer to the ground as it never manages to rise.
