Man from U.N.C.L.E  is a stylish  movie that is also very entertaining to watch. Set in the Cold War era when the Soviet Union and the USA were on opposite sides of the fence and the Berlin Wall still existed, the movie makes good use of the atmsophere and the era to give us a great film.

The baisc premise is simple. Two spies from the USSR and the USA have to work together to retrieve the know- how for a nuclear bomb from the wrong hands or the world faces disaster. There is a girl who is the daughter of the scientist who  has to be used to reach the bad guys. There is espionage, counter- espionage and all sorts of gadgets to help the spies and of course car chases which look quaint when the car won’t go beyond 100 mph.

There is a spot towards the later half of the movie when it becomes a bit boring but that’s just a minor bump till we literally careen towards the end. The leading men and woman are dishy, the clothes are wonderful to see, the story is fun and the direction quite zany. Quite a good watch .
