When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets a little more action than he bargained for. A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it's up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home.

“Quality writing and amicable approach make Shaun the sheep a fluffy fun-filled ride!”

Shaun the Sheep is a popular TV series for kids under 6 I would think. It is set on on a farm with various animals, a taciturn farmer and a sheep dog Bitzer who think he is human.Shaun is the smartest sheep and the rest are quite happy to follow him as he embarks on different escapades.

The most interesting part is that this hour and a half movie has no dialogues and yet keeps you engrossed. The animation is simple and the action sequences are slow to enable young viewers to keep pace. My daughter and her friend who are 9 year olds who normally want to talk about One Direction and other such tween stuff were quite taken in by the movie. I found that even I was giggling away. Take the kiddies, get some popcorn and lose yourself in a simpler world for a little while. The big, bad world can wait.
