Sing is an extremely engrossing movie. It has a great story that has so many twists and turns and highs and lows that I found myself totally caught up in it.

Buster Moon Is a Koala Bear who runs a failing theatre. But he is a die-hard optimist and believes that a singing competition will revive his fortunes. His old secretary inadvertently makes the prize amount so massive that every animal in town turns up to audition. Will the show change the fortunes of the theatre? Watch the movie to find out!

The cast of characters is great. Each finalist in the show is a start in himself or herself with some pretty involved backstories. Each character has an important role to play and no one is sidelined till the very end. The music takes you through memory lane and is like taking a mini tour through the history of music. The acts are also choreographed extremely well.

There are some great lessons to be learnt - about resilience, optimism and following your dream as also about shyness and passion. All of them coming through in the most easy going manner possible.

Sing is a totally feel good movie. If you are down, you will come out singing. And if you are happy then you will feel like a rock star. Great way to begin the year. Gather all the kids and go. Don't miss it!
