The kind of hype attached to this little projection on celluloid is frankly overwhelming. Who has made Star Wars what it really is? Is it the perseverance of the filmmaker or its actors and technicians? Well I'd say it's given that due honor by the fans. At a such a point, it's unlikely the film will disappoint the fans. But does it take them for granted? Certainly not. It's

First things first, does Star Wars: The Last Jedi only cater to its fan base? No. As much as fans are likely to enjoy this instalment, it is quite an engaging and at the same time enjoyable experience for viewers who haven't charted this territory yet. At two and half hours, you're unlikely to get distracted for a second.

I've been a very loyal admirer of the Star Wars series and I would want each one of the fan out there to enjoy the movie as you get it. Hence, no revelation of story details here which might just end up being a chunk of spoilers for some. All I can say at the moment is the story lives up to the expectations and is one of the strongest pillars of the movie.

Watching Star Wars: The Last Jedi is kind of a spiritual experience for it moves over things in a way not very Star War(ish). Of course the satisfying deal on offer is when Rey reaches the mountaintop to face the man with the constantly defied independence. The way it's been handled is quite honestly remarkable. For what is Star Wars but a story about family? What is it but a story about hope? It's about seeing light when there is only darkness. It is about how, when faced with peril, even the most rational of us bow our heads and pray.

As we realize the journey we've been a part of has filled us with several different emotions, somehow the whole Star Wars world evading questions. But since it has answered more than we hoped for, all we can do is sit and enjoy this cinematic brilliance with sheer joy.

This is the kind of instalment a series like this really deserved. It's an experience!
