Welcome to Mithunda, Hollywood style. However, a decent plot (which is incidentally, quite
Indian - Revenge !!) and some action sequences do not a good movie make.

The Losers is yet another stupid flick based on a comic book of the same name which simply does
not justify any reason for its existence. The problem with this one is bad timing - it should have been made atleast 20 years ago, and boy, would it have been big then !! Everything is so so deja-vu - the action, the snipers and the shotguns, cars which blow away, and the rehashed plot. The dialogues may be original, though, but they are not reason enough for spending close to an hour and a half on this one.

Clay is a CIA operative, who along with his team of elite United States special forces squad
(Blah Blah Blah... it seems everybody in the US is only working in an elite squad) is stationed
in Bolivia. It has orders to eliminate an enemy by locking onto its position and informing the
air strike controller. However, after they spot a group of 25 kids in the vicinity, they rescue them before the place goes Kaboom. Unfortunately, their boss has other plans - and soon they find themselves fighting for their own identity, and running for their lives.

The movie is a collection of short action sequences, which give it the feel of a bunch of TV episodes strung together. The action is watchable, although the actors look tired and uninterested. The starcast isn't much of a mention - Jeffrey Dean Morgan (never heard of him) and Zoe Saldana (played Neytiri in Avatar) occupying centrestage. The rest of the cast is also mix-and-match.

It would have been better if the makers had tried to adapt the script to a game, instead of a movie. Uninspiring. Avoidable. A small screen watch at best.
