Now let me start it one a positive note, if you haven’t watched any of the earlier films of this series, chances are you’ll like Transporter Refueled. In any case you should go back to watching the older versions with Jason Statham. You’ll witness what has been made of it.

In the latest edition of the film, Frank Martin (Ed Skrien) the younger version of Jason Statham transports important packages for questionable people and maintains business standards like- Never ask the name of the employer, Never enquire about the contents of the package, Never ask questions, Don’t change the deal, etc. It’s the same set of rules that draw him into a soup by his femme coupe who are all set to avenge the man who forced them into prostitution. Now this man also happens to be Frank’s ex-boss. To ensure they have Frank’s help till they end, they hold hostage his father (Ray Stevenson).

Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing in this film is noteworthy. Neither the performances, nor most of the actions scenes, which is quite a pity. In fact, this undoes the aura of its prequels to say so. But you’d appreciate the pace through which the story and the action flow by.

Honestly, most of it is the old, aged stuff that definitely calls for renewal, in this case ignorance. Might as well wait till you catch it on television!
