Verdict - Neither emotionally gripping nor action wise thrilling !

    BumblebeeWatch trailerRelease date : January 04, 2019

Bumblebee is just another indicator for most of us heart broken Transformers series fans. The glorious promise of 2007 Transformers is all but dead and buried. The problem with the franchise is that it just refuses to hire smart writers and screenplay writers who will create a gripping screenplay for a Transformers movie.

This one is almost two hours long and has barely three action scenes. Now when anybody walks in to watch a Transformer movie the first thing we expect is mega action executed on large canvas, BumbleBee is a huge disappointment if you expect large scale action. The emotional content unfortunately fails to make up for the lack of action. Bumblebee's cuteness and innocence is over done here.

The standard elements of Transformer movies like people gasping or getting awe struck or scared when they first see either the autobots or the decepticons is used here too and only adds to the boring jaded feeling of this movie. The routine elements don't end here there is a loyal as a puppy african-american boyfriend of the leading lady of the movie. She has a unhappy family feel etc.

The most impressive part of all Transformer movies are some great one liners , towering villains and of course Optimus Prime. All three are completely or largely missing in this one.

This one could have made a better TV series, if you fail to watch this one trust me you have not missed anything at all.

One star because am a Bumblebee fan as much as I remain a Optimus Prime fanboy.
