Verdict - This is a worthy sequel that gives you super thrills

Jumanji: Welcome to the JungleWatch trailerRelease date : December 29, 2017

Jake Kasdan deserves a big round of applause, he has not only created a movie for the today's generation which is more techno when it does its gaming but he has created a movie which can claim to be a very worth sequel to the Robin William's epic entertainer from 1995.

The movie begins during 1996 with the disappearance of a certain Alex into the game yet again and years later in 2017 a bunch of 4 college students get sucked into Jumanji's forest yet again. Jumanji is more techno and more like a real life gameplay the dangerous catch being your actual life could be in danger should you lose.

So four unlikely personalities slowly learn to exist together and fight it out and win the game by lifting the curse of Jumanji - how it is done would be a grand spoiler.

The engrossing part of Jumanji is that it remains a movie whose screenplay moves with a certain speed. It has its own moments and some of them are really funny particularly that of a girl who becomes a man in the game because that is the gaming avatar she has chosen. Fridge the actual muscle guy of the four in real life is the comic supply of the movie and keeps you laughing in most part of the movie.

Dwyane Johnson is both handsome and charming and he uses his blazing screen presence to the hilt here.

The beauty of Jumanji -welcome to the jungle is that it actually takes the game of Jumanji up in creative and entertaining levels without falling into the trap of using too many graphics and technology. The climax moment when one of the player uses her weakness to trip the villain and turn the game is a very small but a very sharp and intelligent moment of the movie. In fact any body who is an avid gamer will understand how gamers tend to do this to win the game.

The added twist of Alex also finding freedom from the game and meeting the four post the climax is a very well thought out moment in the movie though it is largely predictable it still adds to the ending feel good positivity of the movie.

Your kids and the kid in you will fall sure one trip to the Jumanji jungle. These four are very entertaining.
