Verdict - Jason Statham is impactful in this passable action movie.

Mechanic ResurrectionWatch trailerRelease date : August 25, 2016

In many ways, Mechanic: Resurrection improves upon its prequel, 2011's The Mechanic. As in many other recent films starring Jason Statham, Resurrection doesn't try to sweep under the carpet the fact that its star has grown a tad old; and instead uses that aspect to shape his character. Statham's demeanor in this one is more brusque than in the previous film. The film is both lurid and relentless in how it throws scenes of intense violence at us. Statham brings much power to his role as an ultra-efficient killer. He isn't the type of actor who rises above the material - he operates squarely in the B-movie mould, and the film is happy being nothing more than pulpy trash, but it more or less works on that level thanks not the least to the proficiency Statham brings to the role.
