Verdict - If you want to watch this one, make sure you can stomach relentless violence for two odd hours

The Raid 2: BerandalWatch trailerRelease date : May 30, 2014

Raid 2 begins with warring gangs in Indonesia, out to kill each other. Why are they at loggerheads? The reasons which should form the story, are incidental, for all that the makers care for is to up the ante in terms of action and violence on screen. And they do astoundingly well. Raid 2 is one of the most violent films ever made, with heads being chopped bones broken limbs shattered and made into paste, every five minutes you find yourself going "ouch" in pain.

Iko is back as Rama, and is undercover to infiltrate a ganglords mafia and bring them down. Bring them down is beware, an excuse to bam bang slash non stop every second. With a small story to stretch, Raid 2 is long, surprisingly long. Evans, the Director uses this extra time to fill in even more gobsmacking action that just puts you off like an overdose of porn does. End of the film, i felt weak and tired, much like those dead and half dead people falling up like matchsticks all over on screen.

If you like Raid 1, this will be an upgradation on it and you might enjoy it. If you want some story and sense with the action, well this is just half baked in that department, either ways, be warned, there is a lot of pain on screen.
