Steven Spielberg's ability to transform even a far fetched idea into a completely believable cinematic experience is something we sure as hell are aware of. Taking a giant leap from his realistic drama set around the traditional school of print journalism, this one is a major shift in gear.
The film has makings of a potentially engaging sci-fi that doesn't take anything and everything for granted. We see a story, invest in it and then come out being completely satisfied.
The film is set in 2045, with the world on the brink of a collapse. A virtual reality universe OASIS is something people have found their salvation in . A young an unlikely savior named Wade Watts enters the fray to find three hidden keys that will ultimately make him the winner. But it doesn't come as easy as you'd think and there begins the game of excitement.
The film is laced with entertainment despite its undertone having elements of sincerity. But everything said and done, Ready Player One is a movie you wouldn't want to miss. It's Epic and it's entertaining!
