With the third installment from the Twilight series, Eclipse may manage sizeable converts, the ones who excitedly join the facebook pages and eagerly anticipate the next release, even more enthusiastic than they were in their parents silver jubilee, primarily because of the overflowing dreamy ambiance

The film based on the third novel by Stephanie Meyer starts with a shadowy figure attacking a boy whos just come out of a bar. Now who is the attacker and what is she contemplating to get out of it, is to be kept as a secret.

Eclipse mainly concentrates on Isabella Swanks (Kristen Stewart) uncertainties as it is about time she decides sacrificing her human life to live with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) by turning into a vampire that would wholly alienate her or with Jacob (Taylor Lautnor) with whom she could live being her descent normal creature. In addition to the Bollywood-like love triangle, there is a seasoned enemy whos resurfaced along with freshly trained, dreadfully blood-thirsty lot of evil newborns.

One thing, no one should or would possibly skip is that throughout the fantasy-action-romantic-drama , you hear about how a life altering war is going to take place, they are coming to Forks is also being rotated with high pitch background score acting as an excuse to evoke fear, preparations are taken care of and skills are mastered, an abrupt alliance with the werewolves occurs, all for the safety of Bella. But what we get to see at last is a badly choreographed action sequence, ending too quickly, with too many things happening at the same time. In fact, the clash between Edward and Victoria is more appealing.

The movie scores only because of the romantic angle and the comic relief the makers have finally infused which justifies entertainment. A werewolf and a vampire, two very promising and strikingly good-looking males cribbing over a fragile human, with genetic abilities acting as their defense mechanism cannot be far from hilarity. Yes, the funnier side of this dark and blue-stained venture includes the scenes between Bella and her Dad, when Edward-Jacob are at wits end, Jessicas (Anna Kendrick) speech at the graduating ceremony and a few more spontaneous reactions that tend to give us a few laughs even amidst the super-complex love triangle.
The story throughout remains unfocused and shaky, the dialogue slightly optimistic and emotion stirring, animation too bleak (as it is), performances relatively mature; Eclipse doesnt really cast a spell or carve a shadow. Twi-hards, no matter what are going to throng the theatres and go gala over the topless Taylor Lautner and the chalk white Robert Pattinson (dont miss the red-eye effect) who gets to emote a number of expressions this time (yey!) With the volturi not properly established and the highly anticipated war not leaving much trace behind, Eclipse acts just as mere excuse to take the just average franchisee forward and thats about it
