Verdict - Predictable, laugh out loud non-family fun.

    VacationWatch trailerRelease date : August 14, 2015

Vacation is a predictable, crass, lewd and slapstick comedy. Despite this, it's laugh out loud funny. An excellent cast and a few extremely well done running gags ensure that the audience will be laughing almost the entire time. Make no mistake, there's nothing even resembling nuance in Vacation, and it's all the better for it.

Rusty Griswald is pilot for a low budget airline, econo air. He's living the perfect version of his life. Wife, kids, and an annual trip to a lodge in the mountains. He's completely oblivious to the fact that his wife Debbie is completely bored with the same old routine. Hearing about her friends trip to paris isn't helping the situation at all, either. Finally taking the hint, he decides to "mix-it-up", and re live a road trip to Wally World from his childhood.

You'll be able to predict just about every event in Vacation, but you're going to laugh at it anyway. Vacation takes familiar themes and crudes it up. The actors do a great job and seem to be actually enjoying themselves in their roles. Where the movie is at its best though, is the scenes involving cameos. There's a ton of them, including the likes of Charlie Day, Nick Kroll, Michael Pena and Chris Hemsworth. Don't go thinking this is a fun family movie though.
