On June 4, shocking news broke that K-pop group NCT's members Johnny and Haechan were allegedly involved in an 'orgy' with three prostitutes in Japan. The controversy intensified when it was revealed that two of the women were also NCT fans, leading to widespread criticism of the members.

The allegations first surfaced when an infamous Twitter user, known for his connections to Tokyo's seedy underworld, claimed that the incident occurred. Alleged photos of the women with the NCT members added further credibility to the accusations. The hotel where these events supposedly took place is reportedly the same one where Haechan had recently held a livestream, identified as the Capitol Hotel Tokyo according to a Koreaboo report.

Although the original post has since been deleted, it has already gone viral worldwide and caused significant damage. To add to the controversy, another tweet emerged as a screenshot of a supposed conversation between Johnny and a fan named Miu, suggesting plans to meet in Japan during NCT 127's upcoming schedule there.

After the tweets went public, netizens discovered the social media accounts of two of the women involved and their posts showed they are NCT fans. They were seen posing with NCT posters and holding photocards of the group.

Many netizens could not hide their shock regarding the allegations; however, the reactions have been mixed. While Korean and Japanese fans are unhappy with the news and have been thrashing the idols, international fans have gone on to argue, especially on X (formerly known as Twitter) that these are grown men who can do whatever they want.

NCTzens were furious about the allegations and demanded that SM Entertainment protect their artists. As criticism and ridicule mount, netizens are waiting for SM Entertainment to release a statement. Meanwhile, some NCT fans are insisting that the label protect their artists from what they claim to be false allegations.
