Prakash Jha wants to put claimer in beginning of his next film Chakravyuh

Renowned filmmakerPrakash Jhahas reportedly approached the Censor Board Of Film Certification with a wish-list. According to sources, the filmmaker, whose next filmChakravyuhis reportedly based on some real-life characters, has requested the board for consent to display a claimer in the beginning of the film, owning up to the responsibility of having borrowed characters and situations from real life. Till now, a disclaimer claiming that no character in a film replicates any person from real life has to be put at the beginning of a film but Jha feels that instead of the usual announcement, a disclaimer, saying ‘Resemblances to real-life characters and incidents are intentional’ should be showed in the beginning of a film. Prakash Jha said "I don't wish to deny the historical perspective inChakravyuhand have asked for an announcement, a 'claimer' as opposed to a 'disclaimer' because it is important to let the audience know that the political references in this film are not artificial." The CBFC is apparently apprehensive of declaring real-life claims in films and its decision is still awaited.
