Desperate Housewives fame Nicollette Sheridan loses battle against show makers

A California court has rejected the request of formerDesperate Housewivesstar Nicolette Sheridan, who had accused the series producer Abc of wrongful termination, for a retrial against the show's executives. Earlier this year, in Los Angeles Superior Court, and in August California's second appellate district court officials had ruled that she was not unlawfully terminated.

The actress alleged that the makers have wrongly killed her character Edie Britt, who died at the end of season five of the hit drama, with an intention to terminate her after she complained about a backstage altercation withDesperate Housewivescreator Marc Cherry. The actress’ legal team asked for a rehearing but that request was denied last week, The Hollywood Reporter stated.
