Assistant Director Dev (Prajwal Devaraj) is struggling to make it big in the film industry and has a story to tell. That story features his special friend, a career-centric woman (Priyanka Khandelwal) and many of his other friends who are his support system. As Dev is struggling to make his career worth it, his first priority is always. Why is her life always priority, what happens to his career and what is the real meaning of love is the storyline of this movie.
Said to be based on a true story, Director Khandas has made a good attempt however there are quite a few slips between the cup and the lip. While trying to keep the story as close to reality some how did not work in my favour. The story has dragged quite a bit in the effort to keep the suspense and twists intact. Arjun Janya’s music is the only saving grace. Prajwal, Priyanka and Ankita have all essayed their roles well. You never understand Ankita’s role in the movie till climax. Bullet Prakash’s comedy falls flat.
The plus of the story is the portrayal of women and platonic relationships. If you look closely, both women are portrayed as strong and independent. While one chases her dreams of success and ambition, the other pursues her interest as a sportsperson and both of them are not discouraged in any way. The way the man supports his best friend without being romantically involved is another side of it.
