So finally, the Biggest Awards Night in Hollywood is here! Oscars 2018 is scheduled to take place at 5.30 AM IST in Dolby Theatre, Hollywood, California in the United States and the biggest of the celebrities, actors, directors, writers, producers etc. will be walking on the red carpet. The night of the Oscars is the biggest night in the careers of anyone who has ever been nominated and the winners have gone on to achieve great things in their career. Oscars are also referred to as Academy Awards.

This year, films like The Shape of Water, Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, Lady Bird, Call Me By Your Name, Get Out, Phantom Thread, 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and The Post have been nominated for the Academy Award for the Best Picture. Youngsters like Daniel Kaluuya and Saoirse Ronan have been nominated alongside legends such as Gary Oldman, Meryl Streep, Daniel Day-Lewis and it will be interesting to see whether the Academy goes for the experience or the fresh blood. Jimmy Kimmel also continues his hosting duties from the previous year.

The Shape of Water wins the Oscar for the Best Picture. And its a hilarious repeat of last year as Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway are introduced on the stage by Jimmy Kimmel. They (in)famously announced La La Land as the best picture last year before the Academy producers dashed on stage and announced that Moonlight was the Best Picture.
