Truth behind Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun's arrest
The Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 has been breaking record after records ever since the time it has been released. Amidst all this excitement, there is some not so good news for the fans (read ‘seamless fans’) of Allu Arjun. As per the reports available, the pan India superstar Alu Arjun has been arrested by the Telangana police.
The reason? Well… the said arrest was over the death of a lady fan. For the unversed, the sad incident had taken place during one of the special shows of the film, in which even Allu Arjun was also present. Needless to say, because of the presence of Allu Arjun, there was a humongous crowd, which, by the minute, was becoming extremely difficult to control.
Because of the security lapse, the entire situation went out of control and eventually led into a stampede. And it is in this stampede, that eventually resulted in the death of a 39-year-old woman, (who was eventually identified as Revathi). Besides her, there was also her eight-year-old son who also had got injured and had to be immediately hospitalised.
After getting to know about the death of the lady, Allu Arjun took to social media and shared an extremely heart-warming message by announcing financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh for the family. In addition to that, he also committed to covering the young boy (13-year-old Sri Tej’s) medical expenses, whose condition remained critical.
The concerned police officers who were present on duty (at the day of the unfortunate incident) were successful in pulling the mother and son duo away from the crowd. This was immediately followed by them performing CPR on Sri Tej before rushing them to a nearby hospital.
Upon reaching Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital, unfortunately, Revathi was declared dead upon arrival. On the other hand, her son had been advised to be transferred for further treatment.
