Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is soon going to welcome her first child with actor-husband Ranveer Singh. The couple was recently seen visiting the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai to seek blessings, along with their family. Now, recent reports reveal that the actress has been admitted to a hospital ahead of her delivery.

According to reports, Deepika Padukone has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, days ahead of her delivery. The due date was earlier reported to be in the last week of September.
Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in 2018 and announced in February that they are expecting their first child in September this year. The duo shared a joint post which said, "September 2024."

The actress was earlier seen visiting the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai with her actor husband Ranveer Singh. Videos of their visit were captured by the paparazzi, that went viral online. Deepika was seen in a traditional green saree paired with a matching blouse and her baby bump was visible. The actress along with Ranveer greeted the crowd with folded hands before entering the temple. Ranveer complemented Deepika by opting for a cream-colored kurta-pajama, styled with a bun and black sunglasses.
Ranveer and Deepika’s acting projects
On the professional front, Deepika was last seen in Nag Ashwin’s magnum opus film Kalki 2898 AD. The film also starred Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. The film is centered around a dystopian world where Kalki is expected to be born and rid the people of their misery. Deepika plays the role of Sumati, Kalki’s mother in the film.
The actress will be seen next in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Ranveer Singh, among others.
Ranveer, on the other hand, was last seen in Karan Johar’s blockbuster film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, alongside actress Alia Bhatt. The film tells the tale of two lovers from different cultural backgrounds.
