The dialogue I gave to Vijay sir was, "Idha Vechukonga Siva.." But #ThalapathyVijay improvised and delivered it as "Thuppakiya pudinga Siva” - @vp_offl#GOAT#TheGreatestOfAllTime #GOATTheMovie#Sivakarthikeyan

Vijay-Sivakarthikeyan in The GOAT
Thalapathy Vijay and Sivakarthikeyan, who share a short exchange toward the climax of the film, delivered one of the movie's most memorable moments. Director Venkat Prabhu recently revealed in an interview that it was Thalapathy Vijay, who improvised a line during his interaction with Sivakarthikeyan. In the scene, the director had initially asked Vijay to say, "Itha vachukonga, Siva" (translation: "Keep this, Siva") as he hands over a gun to Sivakarthikeyan. However, Thalapathy Vijay improvised the scene, changing the dialogue to, "Thuppakiya pudinga, Siva" (translation: "Hold this gun, Siva"). “Thuppakki is his film (Vijay-starrer Thuppakki, 2012), and handing over the gun to Sivakarthikeyan while saying, ‘It’s all in your hands,’ was such a great move from Vijay sir,” the director said. He continued, "This shows the man’s heart."
For context, in the film, Vijay tasks Sivakarthikeyan with looking after the antagonist, Mic Mohan, while he tries to locate a bomb planted in the stadium. While asking him to ensure Mic Mohan doesn’t escape, Vijay hands him a gun and tells him, "Now the lives of the 1,000 people in the stadium lie in your hands." That particular scene sent audiences into a frenzy, believing that the dialogue hints at Thalapathy Vijay passing on his status as the superstar of Kollywood to the rising talent, Sivakarthikeyan.
The director also mentioned that the makers had to cut out 18 minutes to fit it into the standard duration of a feature film. He revealed that the OTT version of the film on Netflix will include all the deleted scenes, including an interesting one between Sivakarthikeyan and Mic Mohan.
Besides Sivakarthikeyan, the film also features cameo appearances from Trisha, MS Dhoni, Vijayakanth, and a few references to Ajith.
