'5G network ka naya tower', 'circus Wala admi': Ananya Panday's height in a black pantsuit invites hilarious reactions from netizens

Ananya Panday has often been at the receiving end of criticism for one or another reason. Recently she was targeted by netizens for her performance in her latest film, Liger co-starring Vijay Deverakonda. And once again she has become a butt of the joke for her overall look at an event held on Tuesday. The actress was ridiculed for looking very tall in a black pantsuit so much so that people around her looked small.

A video of Ananya was shared on the paparazzo account on Instagram wherein she can be seen arriving for an event in the city. She was dressed in flared black pants with a matching jacket and completed her look with a sleek bun and jewellery. However, the talking point became her high heels which made her look very tall. Soon after the netizens chimed in with funny reactions to her look. Some of them compared her to a circus man and a few made other height-related jokes. During the event, Ananya also spoke about her upcoming project, Dream Girl 2 . “After I read the script, I was laughing alone in my room. I loved the first part and am very excited to work with Ayushmann and also with an ensemble cast including Paresh sir, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Seema Pahwa, and many more. It’s like a dream come true”. Furthermore, she also talked about getting mixed responses from the audience for Liger. “As an actor, it’s more about the journey and I have learnt a lot from the movie as well as the team involved. So you have to keep improving and learning,” she added.

To note, Dream Girl 2 is the second installment of producer Ekta Kapoor’s franchise Dream Girl starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya in the lead role. The film is written and directed by Raaj Shandilyaa.
