Aashiqui 3 sunke sharma gaya: Kartik Aaryan couldn't stop blushing as he posed for paps at OTTplay Awards 2022

Last night, Kartik Aaryan graced the biggest celebration of the OTT entertainment world, OTTplay Awards 2022 in Mumbai. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor arrived in a black suit teamed with a white shirt and black tie for the starry evening. He looked dapper as he put his hot looks forward when he posed for the shutterbugs. But his suave gaze turned into a blush when one of the paparazzi shouted “ Aashiqui 3 ”. He tried controlling his smile as he looked down but the movie’s name itself made him weak, wonder why?

Earlier this week, Kartik was announced to be the lead actor in the third installment of the classic Aashiqui franchise. He is excited to be part of the romantic saga which will be directed by Anurag Basu. Co-produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar, the film has already become one of the anticipated releases of 2023. As soon as the video of Kartik from the event surfaced online, one of the netizens captured the real essence of the actor’s expression and wrote, “Aashiqui 3 bolte hi Sharma gaya”. Another added, “Aashiqi 3 bolta he joa smile d ya aashik kartik na 😍 @kartikaaryan.” To note, Kartik bagged Best Actor OTTplay Award for Dhamaka.

Amid all excitement of Aashiqui 3, Twitterati can't wait to watch Kartik as an 'aashiq' in the upcoming film. However, the makers have not yet announced the name of the leading lady opposite Kartik and the Tweeple have their own guesses. Some are predicting that Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, or Kriti Sanon will be Kartik’s heroine in the movie. The latest buzz is about Naagin 6 fame Tejasswi Prakash's debut with it. Reportedly, the makers have decided to go ahead with a fresh face for the upcoming romantic movie.

Besides Aashiqui 3, Kartik will next be seen in Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada opposite Kriti Sanon. He also has Freddy alongside Alaya F, Hansal Mehta’s Captain India, Sajid Nadiadwala's Satyaprem Ki Katha co-starring Kiara Advani, and an untitled movie directed by Kabir Khan.
