Aayush Sharma recalls taking up the job of a background dancer in Ranbir-Deepika's song Dilliwali Girlfriend

Salman Khan ’s brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma has revealed how he ended up as a background dancer in Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani song Dilli Wali Girlfriend. The Antim: The Final Truth actor who is now two films old in Bollywood was looking to learn how movie making works when the Ayan Mukherji was making the romantic-comedy which released in 2013.

Aayush said during an interview with Aaj Tak, “I got to know that in Mehboob Studios Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani shoot was happening. I called my friend and asked to give me some work in the background. I told him that I will get to learn how shooting happens if I work in the background. So, I was roaming in YJHD’s song Dilli Wali Girlfriend. For the first time, I saw how Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone perform and how shoots take place. This was my first visit to Mehboob Studios. So, the biggest excitement was going to Mehboob Studios for this song.”

The actor married Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan in 2014 and eventually made his debut in Bollywood as an actor with the film Loveyatri in 2018. He finally shares the big screen with Salman Khan in Antim which released in cinemas recently.

Antim has crossed the Rs. 50 crores mark at the box office so far and continues its steady run in cinemas.
