Abhishek Bachchan takes Amitabh Bachchan’s seat on KBC 14, megastar in tears surprised

The Shahenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan celebrates his birthday today (October 11). While the superstar is being flooded with wishes from the industry fraternity and the fans, one of the most beautiful surprises was planned for him by his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan . Abhishek planned a lovely surprise for his father on the sets of the latter’s popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 14.

Abhishek Bachchan shared a video that shows him talking with the crew and makers of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. The Big Bull actor prepares his speech and the AV that has ‘Happy Birthday Paa’ written on it with a throwback picture of the father-son duo. He then waits to give the epic surprise to his father while the latter is hosting his episode.

Soon we see Abhishek Bachchan enter the main set and surprise his father Amitabh Bachchan. The video further shows Abhishek taking the hot seat and sharing some endearing moments with his father. Not only that but we further see Abhishek also bring his mother and veteran actress-politician Jaya Bachchan enter the set. She also shares some fond moments with her husband and also feeds him a sweet dish.

Abhishek Bachchan’s delightful surprise visibly leaves the legendary actor in tears. The video then shows Amitabh Bachchan cutting his birthday cake along with his son and wife Jaya Bachchan. Abhishek captioned the same stating, “It took a lot of secrecy, a lot of planning, a lot of hard work, and a lot of rehearsals to get it right. But then again, he deserves no less. It was very emotional to be able to surprise dad and celebrate his 80th Birthday at the place he loves the most, his workplace.”

He further thanked the team of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 and stated, “My gratitude to the entire team of Sony and Kaun Banega Crorepati for helping me do this and making tonight’s episode so special for my father. Do try and see it if possible. KBC on 11th October at 9pm IST only on Sony TV.”
