The ugly tussle between Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra is growing uglier day by day. Now, Sherlyn has filed a police complaint against Rakhi and her lawyer Falguni Brahmbhatt for their alleged use of objectionable language and video against her in public. The FIR has been registered against multiple IPC sections like 354A, 500, 504, 509 & IT ACT 67A.

According to a news report in ANI, “FIR registered against actress Rakhi Sawant & adv Falguni Brahmbhatt under multiple sections of IPC & IT Act on complaint of an actress. The complainant alleges that the 2 showed an objectionable video of her during a press conference & used objectionable language: Mumbai Police.” Rakhi had earlier also filed a police complaint against Sherlyn Chopra at the Oshiwara Police station for an alleged defamatory comment made by the latter on Rakhi ‘changing her boyfriends.’

Rakhi Sawant and her lawyer Falguni Brahmbhatt had mentioned in their complaint that Sherlyn Chopra had used alleged defamatory content against the Main Hoon Na actress in videos that she had shared on her Instagram handle as well as Youtube channel on November 6, 2022. The Oshiwara police authorities registered a case against Sherlyn under IPC sections 500, 504, 506, and 509. The ugly rift between Rakhi and Sherlyn started after the latter had filed a complaint against filmmaker Sajid Khan for sexual harassment while he is currently on the Bigg Boss 16 house. However, Rakhi jumped down in support of Sajid which didn’t go down well with Sherlyn and soon a cold war started between the actresses.

Earlier Sherlyn Chopra had also shared a tweet wherein she mentioned that nudity does not mean consent for perpetrators to commit sexual harassment. The actress tweeted, “Hamari ladai yaun shoshan/yaun shoshan krne waalon ke khilaaf hai. Nyay ki guhar lagaane ka hmaara samvaidhanik (constitutional) haq (right) hai. Ye haq humse koi nahi cheen sakta hai. Ye baat hamaare aaropiyon ki behnein sun lein aur samajh lein. Nudity is not equal to consent. Vastraheen hona razamandi nahi.”
