RRR star Jr NTR joined Ranbir Kapoor , Alia Bhatt, SS Rajamouli, Karan Johar, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy at Brahmastra 's pre-release event in Hyderabad on Friday. The actor graced the event as a special guest and revealed how legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan left a mark on him. He went on to praise Ranbir and said that he is another actor after Amitabh who inspires him.

While speaking at the event, Jr NTR said, “After Amitabh Bachchan, there is one actor I really connect with and that is Ranbir. Every film of his has really inspired me as an actor and my most favourite is Rockstar. He inspires me.” Further, he mentioned that it is Ranbir’s intensity that inspires him a lot. “I really like the intensity in Ranbir....it feels great to share a stage with him today in my hometown Hyderabad," he added.

Prior to lauding Ranbir, Jr NTR expressed his love for Amitabh saying, “I really enjoy Amitabh Bachchan sir's intensity in every film of his. I was a big fan of his intensity, his voice, his eyes, his feet...the way he stood, the way he swung his left hand...everything about Amit ji was intense for me. He really created a mark on me as an actor," he said.

During the event, Rajamouli also revealed that Jr NTR knows Ranbir’s songs from the film Rockstar by heart. He recalled how he sang a song from Rockstar at a get-together that left Ranbir amazed. “Taarak started singing the song along with the song on TV. Ranbir was completely awestruck. That is not even Hindi, it's some Kashmiri Hindi, I myself don’t know the lyrics and this guy was singing the byhearted lyrics. He (Ranbir) was amazed. We were not amazed obviously because we know the kind of talent Taarak is,” the filmmaker said.

Meanwhile, Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji marks Ranbir and Alia’s first movie together. Produced by Dharma Productions and Star Studios, the film is a sci-fi fantasy drama that also stars Amitabh, Mouni, and Nagarjuna in the ensemble cast. The pan-India film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 9.
