After Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Varun Sood gets to romance Ananya Panday; deets inside

Actor Varun Sood might be having a big project coming his way. The actor who has quite a fanbase among the young audience after his exciting stints in the reality shows such as Roadies, Big F, and Splitsvilla could be seen in an upcoming project with Ananya Panday , an English daily report citing an unidentified source. The project is reportedly a long-format digital series titled Call me Bae.

If all goes well, even 90s heartthrob Neelam Kothari who also shares a close bond with Ananya’s mother Bhavana Panday could also be a part of the project, playing Ananya’s mother. However, nothing has been finalized as yet at Neelam’s end. But talking to the daily, Neelam said that while things were at the preliminary stage, she found the prospect of working with Karan Johar and playing Ananya's mother ‘amazing.’ According to the same report, Varun is expected to play the role of a gym trainer.

Varun previously featured in Ragini MMS Returns and also starred in Jug Jugg Jeeyo. “Varun plays a gym trainer in the series. This is supposed to be Varun’s big ticket project. Several actors auditioned for this part, however, it was Varun who landed this character. He will soon sign the dotted lines,” the daily reported citing the unnamed source.

On the personal front, Varun was in a long relationship with Divya Agarwal who too has been a part of several reality shows in the past. Varun has won Ace of Space with Divya Agarwal. However, the couple broke up in March. Divya, earlier this month, got engaged with restaurateur Apurva Padgaonkar on her 30th birthday.
