    Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar entered Bollywood with period drama Samrat Prithviraj co-starring Akshay Kumar . While her performance as princess Sanyogita was appreciated by critics, the film tanked at the box office. Fortunately, the actress bagged a big project just days after her debut film was released as per reports.

    After her maiden film turned disaster, Manushi must be cautious about selecting forthcoming projects. The latest reports suggest that the actress has bet her luck and hard work on action entertainer next. She is set to don a female-action-hero avatar for the big-ticket actioner, which will be shot in Europe. The other details of the project are kept under wraps.

    The upcoming action-drama will be Manushi’s third film in her filmography. During Samrat Prithviraj, Yash Raj Films had already signed the actress for a film opposite Vicky Kaushal . However, the makers are yet to announce the promising project officially. It is being said that the film will have two stars in the lead roles.

    Talking about Manushi’s maiden film, Samrat Prithviraj is based on the life and valour of the fearless and mighty king Prithviraj Chauhan essayed by Akshay. While Manushi played the love interest of Akshay in the film. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt , Sonu Sood, and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. According to the makers, it took eight years of research and two years of VFX to make the film. However, the film was badly criticized for factual errors, because of which the it failed to impress the people.

    Meanwhile, Manushi was quite ecstatic about getting such kind of launchpad and was hoping for a blockbuster. Unfortunately, the big-budgeted film turned out to be a big disaster incurring a huge loss to the makers. Well, we hope Manushi gets a smooth landing the next time she features in any film.
