Ajay Devgn clears the air on rumoured cold war with Shah Rukh Khan, says never had a problem ever
While Ajay has worked with his contemporaries Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, he has never worked with Shah Rukh to date.
The reports of their fight began with the clash of Ajay’s Son of Sardaar and SRK’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012. It was then reported that Ajay has filed a complaint alleging that the makers of SRK’s film have been blocking the release of his film in certain theatres. Thereafter, no statements were issued from both parties regarding the matter.
Recently, in an interview with India Today, when Ajay was asked about the rumoured cold war, he denied the claims saying, “The six-seven of us, who were from the 90's generation who started practically together or maybe one or two years here and there, we share a great rapport. We all support each other. I mean whatever the media can write about some issues with me or Shah Rukh Khan or something else, they are not there. We speak over the phone, we are all fine. Whenever one has a problem, the other is standing by. We trust each other, we believe in each other, that if somebody says 'we are there with you' it means they are going to be there. So we have never had a problem ever."
To note, Ajay made his Bollywood debut with Phool Aur Kante in 1991, while his other contemporaries Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar , Salman Khan , and Aamir Khan also made their acting debut around the same time. While he has worked with Salman and Akshay in the past, he has never worked with Shah Rukh for a film to date.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay was last seen in Runway 34 alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh. His upcoming projects include Bholaa, Kaithi remake, Singham 3, Thank God, and Maidaan . On the other hand, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Pathan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He has also signed up for Rajkumar Hirani ’s Dunki and Atlee’s untitled film.
