Alia Bhatt lovingly calls daughter Raha 'cheetah', reveals Ranbir Kapoor is constantly nervous about THIS

Ever since Alia Bhatt welcomed her first child, daughter Raha Kapoor, she has been constantly juggling between her work and motherhood. Though she is trying to balance both, she recently admitted that she suffers a healthy amount of mom guilt. Not only this, she also revealed that her husband Ranbir Kapoor is in constant fear that his little daughter will forget him.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Alia opened up about her life after having Raha. She said that she and Ranbir lovingly call her ‘Cheetah’ since she makes those tiny sounds while trying to communicate. She also mentioned that Ranbir has become more sensitive since Raha was born. “Ranbir is such a hands-on father at home that it sometimes gets difficult for me to even hold her for a second. And he’s got very unique ways of hanging out with Raha—he likes to sit with her in front of the window where the breeze comes in and make sure she spends a good amount of time looking at the big green plant there. He thinks of her as this earthly sprite. He’s travelling at the moment, so I try to recreate that same routine with Raha because Ranbir’s constantly nervous that she’ll forget him,” she said.

While elaborating on her ‘mom guilt’, she revealed that she goes to therapy every week for her mental health. “I’m always wondering what people are thinking. Do they actually think I’m managing well or are they only saying it to placate me? Even if there isn’t judgement, you feel very critical of yourself. But I work hard at my mental health—I go to therapy every week where I voice these fears. And it helps me understand that this is not something that I will be able to figure out on day one or five or even ten; it’s an ever-evolving, ever-growing process. You have to be able to pick up the pieces of yourself and build anew every day,” she added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia is awaiting the release of her upcoming family drama, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, co-starring Ranveer Singh. The film is scheduled to release on July 28 this year. She is also geared up for her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone. Besides these, she has Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa in the pipeline. Ranbir, on the other hand, is busy shooting for his upcoming movie, Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
