Alia Bhatt on rumors of Ranbir Kapoor picking her up from London and changing her work schedule, says 'I'm a woman, not a parcel'

There were rumor mills doing the rounds that Ranbir Kapoor would head off to London to bring his pregnant wife Alia Bhatt home after she wraps up the shooting of her Hollywood film, Heart Of Stone . Apart from that, speculations were rife that the actress had planned her pregnancy in such a way that it won’t affect her work schedule. However, now Alia took to her social media handle to rubbish this news and shared a rather badass message for the world to see.

Talking about the same, Alia Bhatt shared a screenshot of a news article that had reported about Ranbir Kapoor bringing her home and she planning her pregnancy in accordance with her work commitments. The Student Of The Year actress captioned the same stating, “Meanwhile, we still live in some people’s heads. We still live in some patriarchal world.” The actress then went on to clarify that these rumors are untrue.

Alia Bhatt stated, “FYI, Nothing has gotten delayed, no one needs to pick anyone up. I’m a woman, not a parcel. I do not need to rest at all but good to know you’ll have a doctor’s certification as well. This is 2022, can we please get out of this archake way of thinking.
