Alia Bhatt wishes her ‘wonder-astra’ Ayan Mukerji with Brahmastra BTS pics; Karan Johar showers love on the birthday boy

One talented filmmaker who stands out from the rest because of his unique ideas is Ayan Mukerji . As he gears up for the release of his next film Brahmastra , which is one of the most awaited projects of the year, his lead actress Alia Bhatt took to her official social media handle today to wish him a very happy birthday. Much to the delight of fans, the beauty also shared unseen behind the scene snaps from the set, which give us a glimpse of their hard work and passion. In the caption below, Alia shared, “happy birthday my wonder-Astra. You amaze me everyday! I love you so much. Love and light for life baby✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨.”

Not just Alia but even Brahmastra producer and Ayan’s good friend Karan Johar showered the birthday boy with love. Along with a throwback picture where Ayan is sleeping on KJo’s shoulder, the latter wrote a heartfelt note which read: “Love is such a strong feeling and emotion… it can be divided and yet felt in abundance… I love you Ayan and feel protective about you as much as i do for my twins…. I know the decade( a whole decade) of work you have put into your film BRAHMASTRA … I have never seen anyone dedicate most of their professional lives to one project the way you have …”

Brahmastra is a very special film because it has been in the making for almost 8 long years. It marks Alia and Ranbir Kapoor ’s first film together and it was also during the prep of this project that they fell in love. On Ayan’s birthday today, we wish him all the best for his passion project, which will arrive in theatres on 9th September. Can’t wait!
