Alia Bhatt's baby shower: Soon-to-be mommy looks vibrant in yellow outfit, father-to-be Ranbir Kapoor poses with his sister Riddhima

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are just a month away from becoming parents. Ahead of the arrival of their first baby, the couple celebrated a baby shower with family and close friends on Wednesday in Mumbai. For the day, Alia wore a bright yellow kurta set and looked vibrant as she posed with her sister Shaheen.

Alia’s close friend Akansha Ranjan shared the first picture from the celebration on her Instagram stories. In the photo, Alia is seen posing with Shaheen who is seen wearing a pink salwar suit and Akansha is standing next to her. Even Ranbir's sister Riddhima offered inside glimpses of the celebration. Besides them, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan, sister Pooja Bhatt, mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor, cousin Karisma Kapoor, and others were seen arriving at her Mumbai home Vastu earlier in the day. Back in June, Alia and Ranbir announced their pregnancy with a lovely picture from their ultrasonography session. In the photo, Alia could be seen lying on the bed while Ranbir sitting next to her. Alia had a big smile on her face as she looked at the monitor which is covered with a heart emoticon. She captioned the photo, "Our baby ….. coming soon." Soon after congratulatory messages flooded the comment section from all corners.

Meanwhile, workwise, Alia is geared up for her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone alongside Gal Gadot. She also has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Ranveer Singh. On the other hand, Ranbir will next be seen in Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy alongside Shraddha Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal co-starring Rashmika Mandanna.
