Alia Bhatt's birthday wish for her 'little melon smiggle pop' Shaheen will melt your heart

On her sister Shaheen Bhatt ’s birthday, new mommy Alia Bhatt took time off from her maternal duties to drop an adorable post for her ‘best person ever’. She took to Instagram and dropped a couple of pictures of herself with the birthday girl from her wedding album and alongside penned a heartwarming message. “happy birthday to the BEST person ever .. my sweetie .. my little melon smiggle pop (kissing emojis)I love you so much that no amount of cute - mushy - sweet sounding words will ever be enough Okay bye calling you in one hour,” read the message.

Alia Bhatt had recently embraced motherhood as she welcomed her first child, a baby girl with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. It was on November 6 that she gave birth to her daughter whom she recently named Raha Kapoor. A few days ago, she made the announcement that read, “The name Raha (chosen by her wise and wonderful Dadi) has so many beautiful meanings…Raha, in its purest form means divine path in Swahili she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, In Bangla - rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace, it also means happiness, freedom & bliss. And true to her name, from the first moment we held her - we felt it ALL! Thank you Raha, for bringing our family to life, it feels as though our lives have only just begun.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia is currently taking care of her little munchkin at home. She was last seen in Brahmastra alongside her husband and actor Ranbir Kapoor. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in key roles. Up next, Alia will be seen in her Hollywood debut movie, Heart of Stones. She also has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa in the pipeline.
