Amber Heard reveals major plot spoilers for Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom during trial

Just days after the actress revealed that Warner Bros did want her in the Aquaman sequel and cut down her role, Heard revealed major plot points from the movie during her defamation trial against former husband Johnny Depp. The actress has claimed that her role in the film was slashed.

According to reports, the movie opens with a pregnant Meera being taken to a hospital so that she can birth to her child with Arthur Curry, so early reports saying that the movie will introduce their son are true.

Afterwards, Meera will reportedly not make much of an appearance in the movie and would only come back for a major action sequence in the latter half of the movie.

According to entertainment industry consultant Catherine Arnold who was an expert witness in the trial -

"Ms. Heard told me that she ends up in the hospital in this new Aquaman 2 movie and doesn't really come out until the end to kind of wrap things up, but all of the interactions with Momoa's character and certainly the action scenes were taken out."

Amber Heard had revealed that her role was cut down to 10 minutes and most of her action scenes as well as her scenes with co-star Jason Mamoa were cut and that the studio would be replacing her going forward.

Replacing the actress instead of killing off Meera was a smart move by the studio because of her significant role in the Aquaman mythos and her relationship with Arthur Curry.

According to reports, DC President of Films Walter Hamada is set to take the stand today, so we are sure to learn more about the issue in the coming days, Hamada had previously denied the actress's claims.

Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom was set to release on December 16, 2022, but was pushed to March 17, 2023, due to the pandemic, with ten months to go before its release the movie is set to start its promotional tour soon.

The sequel is directed by James Wan and stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temuera Morrison, and Nicole Kidman .
