Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan joined the millions of people in expressing his condolences at the passing away of the illustrious industrialist Ratan Tata, who had taken his last breath yesterday night due to old age-related issues.
On his part, Amitabh Bachchan took to social media and posted an extremely endearing pic of himself with the legendary Ratan Tata. The superstar actor then captioned the said post as, ‘An era has just passed away .. his humility, his great resolve , his vision and his determination to accomplish the very best for the Nation, ever a pride ..’ .
Amitabh Bachchan added, ‘It was my greatest honour to have had an opportunity and privilege to work together towards common humanitarian causes ..A very sad day .. my prayer’. Not many know that, besides being legends in their own fields, they (Ratan Tata and Amitabh Bachchan) had worked in a film together. The film was Aetbaar, which starred Amitabh Bachchan along with John Abraham, and Bipasha Basu. The film was directed by Vikram Bhatt.
In no time of Amitabh Bachchan posting it, there were many who took to the comments section and joined him in praising both, Amitabh Bachchan as well as the late Ratan Tata.
