Anil Kapoor says Sonam Kapoor will bounce back to work after delivering first child, praises her body of work

Sonam Kapoor took to her social media handle on March 21 to announce her pregnancy with her husband Anand Ahuja . Inevitably, her father and veteran actor Anil Kapoor was left overjoyed for welcoming his grandchild soon. Now, in a recent interview, he said how he feels his daughter will be a perfect mother and that she will soon be bouncing back to work after giving birth to her baby.

Talking to Hindustan Times about the same, Anil Kapoor said Sonam Kapoor derives her aesthetics when it comes to motherhood from her mother, grandmother, and aunt who have been great wives, mothers, and homemakers. The AK Vs AK actor also revealed that Sonam will be juggling her role as a mother and an actress after delivering her child. He furthermore praised his daughter’s body of work.

Anil Kapoor said, “People just love her. She has not had a release for quite some time, but people still remember her. The kind of work she has done, the bodywork she has and she’s done some special films, I’m sure she’s going to do even better films after she delivers and gets back to work. She’s looking forward to getting back to work very soon.”

Announcing the happy news in March last month, Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja had stated, “Our hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.”

Anil Kapoor had also shared a post expressing his joy about becoming a grandfather. The 1942: A Love Story actor had written, “ow preparing for the most exciting role of my life - GRANDFATHER!! Our lives will never be the same again and I couldn’t be more grateful! @sonamkapoor & @anandahuja you have made us happy beyond measure with this incredible news.”
