Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 box office: Kartik Aaryan's film is a blockbuster, earns whopping Rs 200 crore worldwide

Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is on a winning streak and how! The movie has hit a huge milestone by entering Rs 200 crore worldwide. The movie had opened to a great response at the box office on its first day itself. The movie had gone on to earn a massive figure of Rs 92.05 crore in its first week itself.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 earned Rs 2.25 crore on its 18th day and now the total collections of the same stand at Rs 157.07 crore. The movie is remaining untouched by the stiff competition from films like Vikram, Major , and Samrat Prithviraj . The Kartik Aaryan starrer had also defeated Kangana Ranaut ’s Dhaakad brutally which had been released alongside it on May 20.

While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had minted Rs 5.71 crore on its 17th day, it had gone on to earn Rs 4.55 crore on its 16thday. If the movie continues this winning streak, then it will surely reach the Rs 200 crore mark in its total collections too. The horror-comedy flick has turned out to be one of the biggest hits of Kartik Aaryan’s career.

The movie also stars Kiara Advani , Tabu, Rajpal Yadav , and Sanjay Mishra in the lead roles. It has been helmed by Anees Bazmee and has been bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani . It is a sequel to the hit 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Some sub-plots seem to be far-fetched and exaggerated but not once do the humor and dialogues seem to cringe and forceful. Anees Bazmee has tried to curate the balance between the horror and the comedy in this one intricately. The protagonist's tryst with the evil spirit and the superstitious villagers who consider him to be a miracle Tantrik accelerates the plot considerably well and the story does not waste time too much on an unnecessary subplot or a mindless love story.”
