Did Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star Kartik Aaryan hike his fee after delivering back to back hits? Actor reveals the truth

With his last few releases, Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan has proven that he was born to be a superstar. While Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety became a blockbuster hit, his 2019 films Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh were commercial successes. Kartik went on to win hearts with his versatility by experimenting with new genres in Love Aaj Kal and Dhamaka. Well, currently he is soaring high on the success of his recently released horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which entered the 100 crore club within the first 10 days.

A report shared by Bollywood Life suggested that Kartik apparently hiked his fee by a whopping amount after delivering back to back hits. The actor was apparently charging ₹15-20 crore per movie till date. A source claimed that the heartthrob has hiked his fee to ₹35-40 crore per movie. Well, the actor has now reacted to this report himself and squashed it as a rumor in a hilarious post on his official social media handle. Sometime back, Kartik tweeted: "Promotion hua hai life mein. Increment nahi 😂 Baseless 🙏🏻."

Meanwhile, the actor has an enviable line up of exciting projects in his kitty at the moment. Kartik will be reuniting with his Luka Chuppi co-star Kriti Sanon in Shehzada which is the Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo , he will play the role of an air force officer in Hansal Mehta’s social drama Captain India and has already completed Shashanka Ghosh's romantic thriller Freddy . Apart from these, he has signed his first action film with Om Raut and will also begin shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala-produced love saga soon.
