Bollywood's He-Man Dharmendra celebrates his 87th birthday performing puja, Sunny & Bobby pen heartwarming wishes

Dharmendra is one of the living legends in Indian cinema that has ruled the industry since the 1960s. Known as the first He-Man of Bollywood, he has contributed to the cinema with 301 films in a career spanning over six decades. Today (December 8), the veteran actor turned 87 and celebrated his special day performing hawan. His sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol shared adorable photos with him and alongside penned a heartwarming birthday note.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Sunny dropped a photo in which he is posing with Dharmendra. “Happy Birthday Papa. Love you,” he captioned it. On the other hand, Bobby and his nephew Karan Deol have shared a joint birthday post for the veteran actor. Sharing a photo from the puja ceremony, they wrote, “So blessed to be your son and grandson. Happy Birthday Bade papa @aapkadharam #HappyBirthday.” In the photo, Dharmendra is seen sitting in the middle of Bobby and Karan. He wore a garland around his neck as he performed puja with a holy fire kept in front of him. Take a look:

Not only Dharmendra’s sons, but his daughter Esha Deol also dropped a lovely picture from his younger days to wish him. Taking to her Instagram stories, Esha wrote, “Happy birthday papa. Love you.” On the other hand, several other celebrities across the cinema and politics also poured in warm wishes for him. Workwise, Dharmendra is all set to feature in Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial Rocky Aur Rani Prem Kahani. The film also stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. The film is slated for April 28, 2023 release.

On the other hand, Sunny Deol will next be seen in Gadar 2 and BAAP. While Bobby was recently seen in Prakash Jha’s web series Aashram 3. He is set for the shoot of the upcoming fourth season.
